Her Excellency, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, President of Malta received Dr Mario Vella, Governor of the Central Bank of Malta, on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace. During this courtesy call, President Coleiro Preca was presented with a commemorative silver coin, issued together with a commemorative stamp, by the Central Bank of Malta and Maltapost, to mark the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Former Prime Minister, Dom Mintoff.
