Ambassador of Egypt Nada Draz presented her credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca at The Palace, Valletta. During the ceremony, the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.
A Senior Career Diplomat Ambassador, Nada Draz graduated in Political Science from Cairo University and Master of Arts, Near & Middle East Studies from the University of London in 1991.
She served in many high-ranking positions at the Egyptian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and abroad.
Ambassador Draz is also a member on the Board of the National Council for Women in Egypt. Her latest position was Ambassador and Deputy Assistant Minister for the Francophonie within the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Egypt.
Ms Draz served as Consul in Paris from 2010 to 2014, and Deputy Chief of Mission in Tunis from 2005 to 2009.
Ambassador Nada Draz acquired certificates and diplomas from Cairo, Paris, Malta, Geneva, and Turin. Her fields of specialisation include Human Rights, International Negotiations, Leadership Capacity Building, Women and Leadership in the Mediterranean and Regional Integration, and Development.
Ambassador Draz speaks fluent Arabic, French, and English.
