Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thaliand Chailert Limsomboon presented his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca at the Presidential Palace in Valletta.
During the ceremony the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.
Ambassador Limsomboon was born in January 1960 in Thailand. After graduating from Hamburg University in Germany, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand’s diplomatic service in December 1985.
During the following years he worked in various departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand namely the Department of Economic Affairs, the Department of European Affairs and the Department of International Organisations and also served in the Royal Thai Embassies in Bonn and in Manila, as well as in the Royal Thai Consulate General in Frankfurt am Main.
After completing his tenure between 2014 and 2017 as the Royal Thai Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Abuja, he was appointed the Royal Thai Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic and presented his credentials to the President of the Hellenic Republic Pokopis Pavlopoulos on 5th April 2017.
Ambassador Limsomboom is married and has one daughter.
