Fadi Hanania presented his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca at The Palace, in Valletta.
During the ceremony, the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.
Mr Hanania holds an MA in International Relations, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Birzeit University in 2005 and 2000 respectively. He also holds a Diploma in Computing from the University of Maryland.
Ambassador Hanania was Director of Computer and Communications within the Ministry of Planning between 2002 – 2005, and Director of the Computer and the IT Department within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 2004 – 2005.
In 2006, Ambassador Hanania was appointed Director of Protocol, a post which he held till 2008, when he was appointed Director at the European Union Department, both within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In 2008, the Ambassador was appointed as Director of Visits Department within the Office of the President and in 2011, he was appointed as Director of Public Policy within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As of July 2017, he was appointed Acting Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Malta.
