During her official visit in Israel and Palestine, President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca addressed an activity organised by Malta Enterprise in Jerusalem. The President said that in the last 24 months Malta Enterprise has approved seven projects originating in Israel while another 100 companies registered in Malta are owned by Israeli entrepreneurs. The President said that the excellent connectivity between Malta and Israel, the Double Taxation Agreement which is currently in place between the countries, and the highly-skilled and flexible workforce Malta has, will definitely serve as an extra incentive for Israeli entrepreneurs to invest in Malta.
“In fact, Malta envisages collaboration in the IT and digital sector, in life sciences, and in research and education, to mention but a few,” the President added, thanking Malta Enterprise for facilitating the Business Forum and Networking Event in Jerusalem.
