Today, at San Anton Palace, the President of Malta received Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture of Liechtenstein Aurelia Frick, on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.
During the meeting, President Coleiro Preca and Minister Frick spoke about Malta’s priorities for the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, even in light of the fact that Liechtenstein, though not a member of the European Union, forms part of the European Economic Area.
President Coleiro Preca and Minister Frick also spoke about conflicts and the challenges which are faced by children in conflict. Here, President Coleiro Preca commended Liechtenstein for its various initiatives to assist children in conflict in countries such as Lebanon and Jordan.
