President of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, has left Malta on an official visit to Brussels. During this visit, President Coleiro Preca will hold a bilateral meeting with King Phillippe of Belgium and will be presiding over the concert by the Malta Philarmonic Orchestra, with the participation of Maltese Tenor Joseph Calleja, held to mark the beginning of the Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Mrs Dolores Cristina has taken the oath of office as Acting President of Malta.
