The Ambassador of the Republic of Togo presents his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca

On the 10th March 2016, at the Presidential Palace in Valletta, Calixte Batossie Madjoulba presented his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.

 

During the ceremony, the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.

 

Calixte Batossie Madjoulba holds a Masters degree in High Diplomatic Studies and a Diploma in International Relations from the Centre for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies of HEI-HEP Group Paris. He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration in August 2004. He was appointed Second Secretary of Embassy and Consul of Togo in France in October 2004.

 

In 2006, he was appointed Counsellor and then Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Togo in France, besides his functions of Consul.

 

Before joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, he held positions of responsibility in the Togolese Armed Forces. As a Senior Officer, he graduated with a first degree from the French École d’état-major, in Compiègne; graduated as a Logistics Expert from the French Centre d’Instruction et d’Enseignement Logistique du Train in Tours; as Head of Technical Services Corps Troops and as Maintenance Manager, he graduated from the French École Supérieure et d’Application Du Matériel in Bourges; he was an Active Duty Officer, having graduated from the Ivory Coasts’ École de Forces Armées at Bouaké; was also Head of the Motorised and Multiservices Division (1993-1994), Deputy Director (1994-2002), then Director (2002-2004) of the General Command Services Establishment of the Togolese Armed Forces.

 

In 2000, he was Acting Logistics Head on the Army’s General Staff. In 2002, he was appointed rapporteur of the Commission for harmonization of staffing tables and the Economic Community of West African States, Standby Forces in Abuja, Nigeria.

 

Calixte Batossie Madjoulba speaks fluent English and has a basic knowledge of German.

 

Since December 2010, he has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Togo to the Republic of France.

 

Married with children, Calixte Batossie Madjoulba is an Officer of the National Order of Merit and Knight of the Order of Mono of Togo.
